A proper travel adapter is necessary
When you travel to a country with a different outlet system from your country, you will need a travel adapter or travel plug. If you travel to a specific destination often, a travel adapter will meet most of your power needs. You can use the LONGRICH® adapter to plug in a power outlet. And when you are at home or on vacation, you no longer need to charge them on the computer’s USB port.
For example, if you are buying a camera or mobile phone in your destination country, usually they use a different power plug system, and you could use LONGRICH®’s world travel adapter, which can quickly and safely charge your electronic device. This also applies if you have a foreign visitor who wants to charge his electronic devices at your house.
Know what voltage converter is
Please note that the travel adapter is not a voltage converter. However, laptops, electric toothbrushes or smart phones usually do not require a voltage converter. Because the voltage converter changes the voltage (volts), which converts the input voltage to the desired output voltage. For example: The standard voltage in Europe is 230 V and the standard voltage in the US is 110 V. Therefore, if you want to use a US device that meets the 110 V input voltage requirement in Germany, you will need a voltage converter and vice versa. However, many devices are flexible in terms of input voltage and cover a wide range. Electronic devices with power or charging devices (such as laptops, mobile phones, cameras, etc.) do not require a voltage converter
What are the voltage standard of some countries?
The USA, as well as some other countries such as Canada, Mexico and some countries in the Caribbean, has a standard input voltage of 110 V to 120 V. An input voltage is from 220 V to 240 V.
What if the voltage is not compatible?
If the voltage of the equipment is too high, it may be damaged or the cable starts to burn. If the voltage is too low, it may limit the use of the device. For example, in the United States, European hair dryers may only produce cool and weak airflow, while European American hair dryers may overheat and be damaged.
